Integration Training That Actually Works
We've been teaching systems integration for over a decade. Here's what we've learned works best.
Most technical training falls flat because it's too theoretical. Our approach? Start with real problems, work with actual systems, and build confidence through hands-on experience. We've refined these methods through thousands of hours with developers who needed practical skills, not textbook theory.
Our Four-Stage Learning System
After training over 800 developers since 2014, we discovered that integration skills develop best through progressive complexity. Each stage builds genuine competence before moving forward.
System Exploration
We start by examining existing integrations in real business environments. Students dissect working connections between CRM systems, payment processors, and inventory management tools. This isn't about perfect code — it's about understanding how different systems actually communicate in practice.
Guided Implementation
Working in pairs, students build their first integration with detailed support. We focus on one connection at a time — maybe linking a web form to an email marketing platform. The goal is confidence with the fundamental concepts before tackling complexity.
Problem-Based Projects
Students tackle realistic business scenarios: "The accounting system isn't talking to the e-commerce platform, and orders are getting lost." These projects mirror actual client requests and teach troubleshooting alongside technical skills.
Independent Solutions
The final stage involves complex, multi-system integrations where students work independently. They document their approach, handle unexpected issues, and present solutions — just like they'll do in professional environments.

Two Decades of Integration Experience
Celeste Thornbury spent eight years building integration solutions for retail and manufacturing companies before joining our team in 2019. Fiona Ashworth worked as a systems architect at three different SaaS companies, where she learned that the best integrations are the ones that business users never think about.
Together, they've designed a curriculum that focuses on practical skills over certifications. "We teach the messy realities of systems integration," says Celeste. "Because that's what students will encounter in their first job."
Start Your Integration JourneyWhy Our Approach Works
We've tracked our graduates for five years. Here's what sets our training apart from university courses and online tutorials.
Focus on Understanding, Not Memorisation
Integration work involves constant problem-solving with new systems and unexpected requirements. We teach pattern recognition and debugging skills that work across different platforms and technologies.
Collaborative Learning Environment
Most integration projects involve multiple stakeholders. Students practice communicating technical concepts to business users, documenting decisions, and working in small teams from day one.
Industry-Current Technology
Our lab systems get updated quarterly to match what businesses actually use. Students learn current best practices, not outdated approaches from textbooks written five years ago.
Portfolio Development
Every project becomes part of a professional portfolio. By programme completion, students have documented case studies showing their problem-solving process and technical growth.
Our next comprehensive programme starts in September 2025. We accept 24 students per cohort to maintain quality mentoring and hands-on support.
